The Mid Continent Media Foundation donates the Spearfish Center for the Art and Humanities $1000

The Midcontinent Media Foundation Board of Directors approved a donation of $1000 to the Spearfish Center for the Arts and Humanites to help with the purchase of a retractable screen, projector and DVD player for the Matthews Opera House Theater. The Spearfish Arts Center, upon completion of the project, will offer classic films, foreign films, children's films and documentaries to the patrons. Pioneer Bank & Trust awards the Spearfish Center for the Art and Humanities $500

The F.L. Clarkson Family Foundation and Terry Sheahan, Manager of Pioneer Bank & Trust presented the Spearfish Center for the Arts and Humanities a donation for $500 on July 23rd.The Clarkson brothers, founders of the Pioneer Bank and Trust, were hard working men known for their fairness and their willingness to help their neighbors. In the same spirit of fairness and a willingness to help their neighbors the descendents of those two brothers recently awarded a sum of money from the F.L. Clarkson Family Foundation to be distributed to deserving organizations in each of the communities in which a Pioneer Bank & Trust is located. Mr. Sheahan has identified twenty organizations who were awarded charitable donations to be used to help the citizens of our town. According to Mr. Sheahan, "Your organization has been chosen because of the tireless work you have done to help make Spearfish a better place for all of us. You do good things every day and on behalf of the F. L. Clarkson Family foundation and Pioneer Bank & Trust, we thank you."
