The Spearfish Arts Center Gallery Hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please call 605 642-7973 ext.#6 if you have any questions about our artists or The Gallery. The Spearfish Arts Center also includes a classroom in which we feature a variety of classes from beginning to advance.

Our Artists in Residence:

Jenny Braig

Jenny, a local landscape artist working in oils, will be in the classroom painting at different times during the week. Her paintings invite you to step close. they are full of texture and color, they offer a luxurious eye feast. " the work is so real and full of life; you are there, experiencing the hand and eye of the artist and the reality of the paint.

 

 

 

Roy Kramlich

Roy will be here painting at different times - mostly Fridays and Saturdays. His work is influenced by Abstract Expressionism. He paints in this style because it allows freedom to experiment with textures and different mediums.

The public is invited to stop into The Gallery classroom and watch Jenny and Roy work.

The Spearfish Arts Center is accepting applications for Artist in Residence from area artists and art students who would like to utilize the classroom and share their process with our patrons.
